Job Description

Reports To: Sales Team Leader

Job Purpose

  • The DRR is the liaison between the Distributors and the Company and as such is responsible for the distribution of goods from the distributors to the customers through the SKUs.
  • The DRR will ensure that goods are delivered on a timely manner to allow for stock rotation.
  • Responsibilities (Functions and duties): ·
  • Ensure that the Distributor stocks the range of WPH products · Manages the Distributor by ensuring the Distributor sales volumes grow ·
  • Align the Distributors routes to ensure that retail outlets along the routes are supplied by the Distributor · Continuously widen the Distributors coverage by recruiting more outlets ·
  • Visits the Distributors routes to process orders from wholesale and retail outlets for the Distributor · Services the Distributors account to ensure that the Distributor pays as per agreed payment terms ·
  • Recruit other Distributors in the allocated region to strengthen coverage and growth ·
  • Ensure price compliance to avoid overcharge ·
  • Ensure and ascertain that all products are clean and well stored in the Distributor warehouse ·
  • Ensure that products are arranged in order of FIFO for purposes of stock rotation ·
  • Establish stock levels across all the SKUs through the use of stock checklist ·
  • Monitor product movement on day to day basis in every outlet ·
  • Assessment of market share of our products compared to similar products sold by competitors and do price comparisons ·
  • Know all products and their health benefits ·
  • Ensure that there are no short expiries or expired products in any of the outlet handled (Please note that you will be held financially liable for any products that expire in your designated shops) ·
  • Provide daily and weekly sales reports ·
  • Any other duties not necessarily mentioned which are in line with the position as a Distributor Retail Representative(DRR)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. 90% - 120% of sales against set monthly targets

2. 85% of collections against set monthly targets

3. 90% of pictorial reports – done real time basis, every month

4. 90% presentation of daily reports – against the agreed reporting format

5. 100% presentation of weekly reports – against the agreed reporting format

6. 0% of expiry returns recorded in outlets handled

7. 85% of stock outs in outlets handled – provided that there are no stock outs at the Factory Level

8. 0.05% of sales volume for damages and returns; on outlets handled

9. 85% Knowledge of WPH Product Portfolio 10. Response time in respect to Region issues – trade activities and route attendance: Immediate – 24hrs Role
