Shop Attendants at Naivas

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Providing outstanding customer service to customers and ensuring, at all times, that the company is positively promoted.
  • Follows daily work schedule as assigned by management.
  • Liaising closely with all other team members to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Performs stocking duties including; lifting, stocking product, dusting and ordering.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties on sales floor and backroom areas.
  • Be attentive at all times to needs of shoppers and be ready to provide any information and assistance to the customers
  • Maintain proper stock levels. Keep the shelves full of merchandise and items kept in back stock.
  • Perform proper rotation when stocking all products
  • Direct customers to precisely the right location where they can get their products with ease and provide
  • Participate in promotional activities at the Branch to maximize the Customer experience.

Cooks

JOB SUMMARY

The food service cook is responsible for preparing quality deli products to Naivas’ specifications and standards in a safe manner

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure timely and quality food production

• Follow designated food production protocols

• Perform closing duties which include working the walk-in coolers and freezers, sweeping, praying and squeegee floors and leaving work space organized, paying special attention to proper order of product storage

• Prevent shrink, damage and spoilage of product to ensure freshness and quality.

• Assist with building produce displays and ensure proper pricing and signage of products.

• Perform produce duties such as stocking, wrapping, clean-up as assigned by management in accordance with company guidelines.

• Learn and know recipes and proper product portioning

• Maintain product at proper temperatures

• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are performed

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Certificate or diploma in food production

• At least KCSE C Plain or any other relevant qualification.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Lead and create consensus and effect change

• Good Analytical Skills

Assistant Bakers

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Baker is responsible for preparing quality bakery products with a focus on delivering consistent quality that makes shoppers feel that every event or occasion has a special meaning.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure quality and consistent product availability and solutions to our customers.

• Support and execute against bakery concepts and programs.

• Ensure bakery systems and processes are utilized consistently and correctly.

• Ensure recipes and procedures are followed using approved ingredients.

• Practice safe work habits; maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment. Compliance of Sanitation Schedule.

• Accurately write and follow detailed instructions on special orders to ensure product meets or exceeds customer expectations.

• Ensure special orders and wedding cakes are ready early according to department policy.

• Ensure timely delivery of quality products as per Naivas Standards

• Assist in training new team members.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Must be Trained Baker from recognized institution.

• At least KCSE C Plain or any other relevant qualification.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Lead and create consensus and effect change

• 5 Good Analytical Skills

Deli Assistants (Waiters & Waitresses) at Naivas

JOB SUMMARY

The Deli waiter/Waitress is responsible for customer relations and satisfaction. They will perform all service duties including but not limited to weighing, packaging and labeling product.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide quick and efficient customer service.

2. Keep station clean and organized at all times.

3. Maintain product at proper temperatures.

4. Maintain proper portioning

5. Keep an adequate supply of product on hand at all times, which may include production

in some locations

6. Never allow cross contamination to take place at station.

7. Prevent shrink, damage and spoilage of product to ensure freshness and quality.

8. Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are performed.

9. Perform proper opening and closing procedures.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

1. Certificate or Diploma in food production

2. At least KCSE C (Plain) or any other relevant qualification.

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Lead and create consensus and effect change

5. Good Analytical Skills
