Job Description
The main duties and responsibilities of this role will be to:
- Discuss new features with internal departments to understand requirements
- Create business requirement documents that are organized and easy for the development team to translate into software changes
- Track features and tasks in Jira software
- Run stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, sprint planning as well as retrospective and sprint reviews
- Understand customer pain points and prioritize urgent fixes while maintaining long term goals
- Collaborate with the product team to define the product vision
- Assist with any other ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with project management or product management
- Qualification in project management or similar
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to share information in a meaningful way
- Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
- Can work independently
- Highly organised and able to prioritise work appropriately
- Willing to take accountability for work produced
- Comfortable working in a highly complex environment
- Experience with technical projects, not necessarily software
